Tea Tree Oil Recipes

pretty hair and faces 1 Do you have a bunch of boisterous kiddies that love to play outside –if they are not on their devices of course! These days seeing any kids playing outside is nothing sure of a miracle! There are still some rare cases though! I am trying not to laugh and cry as I write this! It’s actually so true to fact that so many kiddies these days would rather be at home on their X-boxes or Wii’s or IPads or… or… or…! But for the rare few that do like to “keep it real” as I would say – i.e. playing out in nature in all the wondrous ways in which Mother Earth rovides for a naturally inspired game – like swimming and climbing
trees to name but a few. If you have one of those families and households that likes to endeavor to play in the outdoors and well, you get a little sweaty here and there… a good natural solution to combat this is using the likes of Tea Tree Oil!

Tea tree oil eliminates body odor. It has antimicrobial properties that destroy the bacteria on your skin that causes body odor. You and your family can make homemade tea tree oil deodorant by mixing it with baking soda and coconut oil. We advise you to try the following recipe; – Take a clear spray bottle that you can buy in any pharmacy.
– Add;
 3 Tbsp Coconut Oil.
 3 Tbsp Shea Butter.
 1/4 Cup Arrow Root Powder or Cornstarch.
 1/4 Cup Baking Soda.
 1 Tbsp Bee's Wax Optional: works well if using an old deodorant container.
 20-30 Drops Tea Tree Essential Oil.
– Mix and shake accordingly and you are ready to spray!
If your kiddies like to play sports and get used to the ‘great outdoors’ and or if you yourself are into a form of exercise like running or going to the gym then you can also add Tea Tree oil to your shoes and sports gear to keep them smelling refreshed and renewed!
If you are trying Tea Tree oil as a deodorant and if you do decide to add them to your sports gear then why not add Tea Tree oil to your shower range. It works wonders as a Shampoo and Conditioner – not neat of course but either try making a home-made natural Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner or you can even buy a pre-made one oils-for-hair-growthout there on the ever growing natural products market. I personally love Tea Tree. I love using it naturally for the likes of any little pimples, small infections, cold sores, bites, sores, when I get sun-burnt and for any of those irritating boils that may arise on occasion. I endeavor to have a bottle of Tea Tree oil in my medicine cabinet at home as well as added to my shower range which wouldn’t be the same without a good bottle of Tea Tree oil Shampoo! In my opinion you can’t go wrong with Tea Tree. It has so many natural and effective healing properties that I have actually seen work and that my friends and I all rave about that it would be selfish of me to not share the workings of Tea Tree oil’s good news! So… well, go forth and buy a bottle, whether that be a pre- made good natural shampoo or a tried attempt to make a home-made product – with Tea Tree you won’t be disappointed!

Argan baby!

Caring for you hair and skin is something that we should all do, but all too frequently we let fall by the wayside. And no, I’m not talking to you girls, I’m well aware of how much you gals care about making sure you’re flawless, I’m talking to all the guys out there. Surprised? You shouldn’t be, skin and hair care is hardly a girl thing alone. We have skin just like the girls do, and we definitely need to take care of it just as much as the girls do, perhaps even more than girls do, as we have been neglecting it for far too long. You may think that grabbing some random shampoo off the shelf and whatever bar of soap you think has the best shape is sufficient in deciding what products to use, but let me tell you, it really isn’t.

Sure you may be able to get by, but there are things that you just are not considering when you go about acting like this. You completely forget about conditioning, and let me tell you, if your hair is longer than a buzzcut, you’re going to be needing conditioner. Trust me, conditioner is not just a girl thing, and if you want healthy hair, you’ll use it. And you definitely need something to clean out your pores, which some bars of soap just do not do a well enough job at. It’s a real shame that you’re still getting zits, despite being well past your teens, but it’s easily fixable. In fact, both problems are fixable with the same thing, which is to start using argan oil based products such as argan oil shampoo from Maple Holistics.

So no more grabbing stuff randomly off of the shelves, either you look at the ingredients to see if it has argan oil in it, or you just buy online where you can clearly see what’s inside of the product.argan-oil

Honestly, argan oil has really helped me out, as it helped me with both my acne problem and (although this is probably more than just the argan oil by itself) helped get rid of my dandruff. I pretty much only use products with argan oil in it now, and I’ve actually started eating argan oil with my food, as it is full of omega 3 and vitamin E. Argan oil is a truly versatile substance, not only great for healing scar tissue (did I mention that it can be used to heal up scar tissue? Because it totally can) but also great as a topping on bread.

It’s no wonder that the Moroccans have been doing this for years, as morocco is where argan oil originates from. And they definitely use it in their everyday life. Not only as a topping, but also as a treatment for minor skin ailments and hair maladies. It was a truly marvelous day when we discovered argan oil, not only for morocco, but also for the rest of humankind as well. Truly, argan oil can and does do it all.

Living a More Natural Life

I’m very excited to say this is my first blog post here at with more on the way. In this day and age of internet and pollution I have tried to scale back and try to live a more natural life, “back to nature” if you will. But to many this is a very vague idea. I wouldn’t be able to tell you how many times I have been asked what exactly I mean by natural living. Communication

In a way I have no exact idea of what it means, only what it means to me. I feel that as humans we have lost what it means to be human. Communication, understanding, and general empathy is what has got us this far. I am well aware that there are many people who would argue that the lack of all three is what has really got us here and in a way they are right. But in my opinion it is only through mutual understanding that we can right the wrongs that the human race has created.

Natural living does not only include how we relate to each-other. It also has to do with how we personally relate with our world. The foods we eat and the products we use on a daily basis can have a huge effect on our relationship to the world at large.

I find that for me this means finding products that are produced by companies that are ecologically conscious. Whether using organic soap or buying my vegetables at the local farmer’s market these small decisions help change Back to naturemy world one choice at a time. I am aware that today major corporations use buzzwords like “organic” and “natural” to try and persuade people to buy their products. That is why I personally keep it local by shopping at local markets and local mom and pop shops. The money I spend stays in the community and is used to continue to produce products and produce that are safer and more natural to our environment and my life.

To conclude you have to do your own research and decide how you want to contribute to a more natural lifestyle. It means different things to different people and to me that’s a beautiful thing. Be sure to check for the most recent blog posts here at……..
