Argan baby!

Caring for you hair and skin is something that we should all do, but all too frequently we let fall by the wayside. And no, I’m not talking to you girls, I’m well aware of how much you gals care about making sure you’re flawless, I’m talking to all the guys out there. Surprised? You shouldn’t be, skin and hair care is hardly a girl thing alone. We have skin just like the girls do, and we definitely need to take care of it just as much as the girls do, perhaps even more than girls do, as we have been neglecting it for far too long. You may think that grabbing some random shampoo off the shelf and whatever bar of soap you think has the best shape is sufficient in deciding what products to use, but let me tell you, it really isn’t.

Sure you may be able to get by, but there are things that you just are not considering when you go about acting like this. You completely forget about conditioning, and let me tell you, if your hair is longer than a buzzcut, you’re going to be needing conditioner. Trust me, conditioner is not just a girl thing, and if you want healthy hair, you’ll use it. And you definitely need something to clean out your pores, which some bars of soap just do not do a well enough job at. It’s a real shame that you’re still getting zits, despite being well past your teens, but it’s easily fixable. In fact, both problems are fixable with the same thing, which is to start using argan oil based products such as argan oil shampoo from Maple Holistics.

So no more grabbing stuff randomly off of the shelves, either you look at the ingredients to see if it has argan oil in it, or you just buy online where you can clearly see what’s inside of the product.argan-oil

Honestly, argan oil has really helped me out, as it helped me with both my acne problem and (although this is probably more than just the argan oil by itself) helped get rid of my dandruff. I pretty much only use products with argan oil in it now, and I’ve actually started eating argan oil with my food, as it is full of omega 3 and vitamin E. Argan oil is a truly versatile substance, not only great for healing scar tissue (did I mention that it can be used to heal up scar tissue? Because it totally can) but also great as a topping on bread.

It’s no wonder that the Moroccans have been doing this for years, as morocco is where argan oil originates from. And they definitely use it in their everyday life. Not only as a topping, but also as a treatment for minor skin ailments and hair maladies. It was a truly marvelous day when we discovered argan oil, not only for morocco, but also for the rest of humankind as well. Truly, argan oil can and does do it all.

Living a More Natural Life

I’m very excited to say this is my first blog post here at with more on the way. In this day and age of internet and pollution I have tried to scale back and try to live a more natural life, “back to nature” if you will. But to many this is a very vague idea. I wouldn’t be able to tell you how many times I have been asked what exactly I mean by natural living. Communication

In a way I have no exact idea of what it means, only what it means to me. I feel that as humans we have lost what it means to be human. Communication, understanding, and general empathy is what has got us this far. I am well aware that there are many people who would argue that the lack of all three is what has really got us here and in a way they are right. But in my opinion it is only through mutual understanding that we can right the wrongs that the human race has created.

Natural living does not only include how we relate to each-other. It also has to do with how we personally relate with our world. The foods we eat and the products we use on a daily basis can have a huge effect on our relationship to the world at large.

I find that for me this means finding products that are produced by companies that are ecologically conscious. Whether using organic soap or buying my vegetables at the local farmer’s market these small decisions help change Back to naturemy world one choice at a time. I am aware that today major corporations use buzzwords like “organic” and “natural” to try and persuade people to buy their products. That is why I personally keep it local by shopping at local markets and local mom and pop shops. The money I spend stays in the community and is used to continue to produce products and produce that are safer and more natural to our environment and my life.

To conclude you have to do your own research and decide how you want to contribute to a more natural lifestyle. It means different things to different people and to me that’s a beautiful thing. Be sure to check for the most recent blog posts here at……..
